Dell Laptop Falling Apart?

by John
(Florida)

Let me first start off by saying that I use my laptop A LOT! Over 3 years, I was pretty much using it at least 8 hours a day. Often times more!

My Dell Inspiron e1505 was starting to see some wear and tear towards the end. The problems mainly had to do with the hinge when opening it.

It was torn a little bit in bottom-left corner. Also, the lid was starting to get loose.

I still have this laptop even though I bought a new Dell. My old Dell laptop still works fine. Even though there's probably way too much stuff on the hard drive.

My new laptop seems to address these problems. I've had it for almost two years now and I haven't had any of these similar issues, and I'm on my laptop about the same amount.

I've been very pleased with Dell products and will likely continue to purchase them in the future. During all of this time, I've only had to contact Dell once, and that was for a broken charger which they sent me a new one promptly.
