Save Time And Effort By Making A Desktop Icons Shortcut

Have you ever wanted to be able to open programs quickly and easily? Making a desktop icons shortcut for each program you frequently use might be the answer that you are looking for.

If you are like me, I have icons all over my desktop. So many that I have a hard time finding where they are sometimes. I generally have about five or six programs that I am constantly opening and closing.

To save time, I found a cool way to open programs without even worrying where they are. It's really easy to set up and I'm sure you will love it.

In order to make a shortcut out of one of your desktop icons, simply right-click it and hit properties.

Right Click Properties

From there, simply click on the Shortcut tab.

Then type in the letter that you would like to be made the shortcut. Windows automatically adds a Ctrl + Alt to whatever letter you choose.

Give this little tip a try. It's especially useful for laptop users who can't stand using the touchpad.
