Had both Dell and HP

by Deepak Gupta
(India)

The above comparison is quite justified. But I have laptops of both the brands, but at the end of the day, I have 3 Dells, and one HP!!!

Why?

Let's put it this way:
a. After Sales service:
For HP, you would have to carry the PC or Laptop to their place, whereas Dell person would come to your place. Saving on your trouble!!

b. Warranty: The kind of warranty given by Dell is completely unmatchable. Does any other player give you complete laptop replacement or theft cover ...No one does...Even no one covers the screen or the spilling of liquid on your laptop...

c. The option of customizing your laptop is not available in HP, whereas you can do it easily on Dell's website. It let's you make your kind of laptop, not of their choice.

d. The build quality of both brands is nearly same, HP ones are more of skinny, but Dell ones are more rigid except for the glossy range like Studio etc.

e. The HP laptop I had taken cost me around Rs. 50,000+ but the Dell one which cost me around Rs. 48,000 is still better running than the HP one.

And lots of other reasons are there why Dell is a favorite amongst the elite and business class cadre..

Hope to see Dell as the No. 1.
