HP Pavilion dv6000 From Wal-Mart

by Josh
(Cedar Hill, MO, USA)

I purchased the HP Pavilion dv6000 model from Wal-Mart because of the great deal they had going on them and I needed one for college.

After about 6 months of use, my wireless card went out and I was unable to repair it. I used a USB wireless card while it was out. Then my entire hard drive crashed.

I bought a new hard drive online and put it in and tried to recover lost data. Not even 2 months later, my hard drive crashed because of the faulty motherboard provided by NVIDIA.

I argued with HP support over 12 times until they decided to help me in any real way. I finally got HP to take my computer back and restore everything on it. It was resolved, but my lost data and inconvenience were not worth the computer. It was a very big hassle.
