The How And Why To Upgrade Laptop Memory

One of the most advanced tricks you can do when you purchase a laptop is to upgrade laptop memory separately.

Laptop experts do this every time they purchase a laptop and save hundreds of dollars. And the best thing is...

It's really easy!

Even if you are really bad at fixing things, here is a video that will show you step-by-step how to accomplish this...

The first thing you need to do of course is to know where to get the laptop memory. One of my favorite places to purchase laptop parts is Tiger Directicon

They have a wide selection of laptop memory for you to choose from.

Once you have the memory, it's as simple as taking the old one out and putting the new one in. If you are interested in upgrading your memory on your own, just follow this simple to-do list before you purchase a new laptop...

1. Figure out how much memory you want. For example, do you want 1GB or 2GB or even more.

2. Subtract the amount of memory that you want to have from the cheapest amount of memory that is available.

3. Then go to Tiger Directicon and find out how much it is going to cost you to buy the amount of memory that you do want to have.

If you can get it much cheaper at Tiger Direct, then it makes perfect since for you to purchase your memory separately.

For a lot of laptops, it is definitely wise for you to purchase your memory in this way. Especially if you go ahead and sell the memory that it came with on eBay.

Tired Of Your Laptop Being So Slow

You can also upgrade laptop memory when you want to improve it's performance. You simply won't believe what this investment will do for your laptop.

There is no need to purchase a new laptop without first trying to upgrade it's performance with added memory.

Especially if you plan on getting Windows Vista.

Vista requires a lot more memory. And it also takes advantage of your added memory if you have it. So be sure to be prepared when you have Windows Vista installed on your laptop.
