Battery Life of HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop
I've owned an HP Pavilion dv2000 series laptop for the last 3 years. After thorough research I settled for this model as the configuration was very good. It has an Intel Centrino Duo processor, 512 MB RAM, 80 GB Hard disk, DVD writer with Light scribe. It comes with an inbuilt web cam of 1.3-mega pixel and microphone with Altec Lansing speaker.
I was truly fascinated by the model and the cost. I was very happy while operating it and everything could be opened with the touch of the fingertips. After using it for 6 months I noticed that the battery life was declining day by day.
The battery life is in a wretched state. I could not even work at a stretch for 1 hour. I immediately contacted the customer service center and a representative came within 3 days of my complaint.
He patiently listened to my problem and suggested the battery needs to be replaced. I got the battery that was recommended by HP replaced but the problem is still persisting. Though it is a laptop which can be carried anywhere on the lap you need to connect it to a plug point to work continuously.
After repeated complaints, they have told us now that this series comes with a very low battery back up. If you are always on the go, I would recommend you to not go for HP laptop.
